Deep Tissue: Not for the novice, not a full body. This is a very intense, specific procedure directed to a problem area.  This will release deep, tight muscle tissues, spasms and contractions eliminating the trigger points which cause referred pain.  

 

Pregnancy Massage:

Ease the many discomforts that pregnancy can bring on! We have a specialized table just for the "mommies to be"  that allows you to lie face down even in the third trimester! (Yes! It is safe!) Or we can massage while you lay on you side, the choice is yours! *Please get a note from your M.D prior to booking your appoinment stating massage therapy is allowed.

Thai Massage:

This is an interactive form of bodywork. You get the flexibility, oxygenation of blood and quieting of the mind that is attained through yoga. You remain passive while the practitioner does the movement for you focusing on deep muscle stretching, joint release, emphasis on breath and use of acupressure.  It is performed on a futon mat on the floor with the client comfortably dressed.

Lymphatic Massage:

Is a gentle, rhythmic massage following the direction of lymph flow. It is said to beneficially effect the nervous, immune and muscular systems. Its primary purpose is for the treatment of lymphodema (excessive swelling) but is also used to aid in detoxifying the body. 1 hr - $80.00

 

Reiki aids in the release of old energy, negative energy and emotions caught in the physical body and muscles. This treatment focuses on opening, clearing and re-energizing the bodies mental, physical and spiritual energy systems as well as the chakras.

3/4 hr - $65.00

 

The craniosacral system consists of the membranes and cerebral spinal fluid that surrounds and protects the brain and spinal cord. An imbalance or restriction in it could possibly cause any number of sensory, motor or neurological problems. For example: Migraines, chronic fatigue, TMJ, stress/tension related problems etc. The therapist gentle method of detection and correction improves your body's internal environment and strengthens its ability to heal itself.  Very gentle, light work is done fully clothed on a massage table.

Reflexology is a focused pressure technique. It is based on the premise that there are zones and reflexes on the different parts of the body that correspond to all parts/glands & organs. When the reflexes are stimulated, the bodies natural electric energy works along the nervous system to clear any blockages in the corresponding zones, allowing the body to return to its state of homoeostasis.

Safe, gentle and effective treatment that has many benefits relating to the nose, throat, sinuses and ears. A hollow, tapered candle is inserted into the ear(s) and lit (like a candle). The heat of the flame warms the ear canal enough to loosen the wax and other debris. The gentle vacuum draws the wax, toxins and other debris (if applicable) out of the ears(s) and into the bottom of the candle.

Ionic Foot Cleanse System: 

A Completely non invasive relaxing therapy to assist in removing toxins stored in your body. People generally will try a cleanse out of curiosity but soon find that they have increased energy, better sleeps, decrease of muscle/joint pain and even clearer complexions!

 

*feet are immersed in the warm foot bath for approx 30 minutes

*an array is placed in the foot bath and a band is attached to your wrist. Both of these are attached to a monitor which displays your ion levels

*the water will turn various colours during the course of the session

*different colours coincide with various areas of the body being cleansed
